The Secretariat and Coordinating Team meet before the Conference begins.

We gathered this morning to undertake two workshop sessions.

During the first we had a choice of

1. Social Justice and in particular secular state schooling in Spain
2. Preparation for a global celebration of Vatican II in 2015 (50th anniversary of the closing of that Council) - "Council 50"

The second session was divided into

1. A strong debate on involvement with the EPPSP and Assn for a Secular Europe
2. Ways of furthering Human Rights in the Church.
